Kraków
Let me introduce you to something that I have experienced through the course of nine months - the resplendent city of Krakow in Poland. These are just some of the better pictures I have taken of the city. I have posted these pictures, for the reason that when I first realized that I was going to come here to study, I was unable to find an adequate amount of pictures of Krakow. So, I have placed these pictures for all people to come and see the beauty Krakow.
The first day when arrived in Krakow, I took a slow walk around downtown. All the feelings of uncertainty and tension I felt before my trip had vanished during my walk. I saw firsthand the differences between American and Polish civilization. The main difference I saw was that American civilization's pace is set at a significantly higher tempo. When I saw people here in Krakow drinking coffee and mineral water downtown, I just melted into the atmosphere and slowed my life down. I felt at rest. Now, I want to share my experience in the form of a display of pictures I have taken through the course of nine months - October 2006 to June 2007.
